Appliance Fire

CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the 100 block of Mill Rd for a reported appliance fire. Enroute, Communications advised of a fire in the stove. Engine 1-2, Engine 1-1, Tower 1 and Asst. Chief 1 arrived, finding normal conditions from the outside and began to investigate. Crews stretched a crosslay to the rear entrance, finding a small fire from the outlet. Crews confirmed no extension and all mutual aid units were placed in service. Power was secured to the outlet and there were no ventilation needs. Crews operated for about 15 minutes before clearing the scene.
