Reported House Fire on Scotland Ave

| Company 1 and mutual aid units were alerted to the 1300 block of Scotland Ave for a reported House Fire. Chief 46 arrived on scene with nothing evident from the outside. Engine 1-1 arrived and advanced a line to the basement area. Crews located a malfunctioning furnace with no fire. Crews secured the furnace until it could be serviced. Units operated for over 30 minutes before being placed in service by Command 1 (Asst. Chief Myers). |
