| HQ station units were sent to the 900 block of Norland Ave for a fire alarm activation. Ambulance 1-8 arrived on scene, found normal conditions and the building evacuated. Initial reports from contractors was that they were operating a gas powered saw in an enclosed building. Engine 1-1 and Tower 1 arrived and began to investigate the building. Asst. CHief 1 arrived and assumed Command 1. Crews found CO readings over 150 ppm inside the front door of the business. Tower 1 set up ventilation and crews began assessing several occupants, all who denied any illness. Crews operated for an hour and a half clearing several businesses and assisting the Building Code Official.
