| Company 1 units were alerted this morning for a dryer fire at the YMCA, 570 East McKinley Street,
reported out. Engine 1-4 and Asst. Chief 1 arrived finding normal conditions from the building and all occupants evacuated. Crews encountered a smoke condition in the
lower level and the assignment was upgraded. Fire was located inside a large dryer and quickly extinguished with no fire leaving the dryer. Units remained on scene for
over an hour checking for extension and removing smoke from the basement. |
