Engine Company 1 and surrounding companies were dispatched to 1003 Byers Avenue for a house fire with entrapment. 911 advised that a subject was trapped amidst
the fire in the basement. Arriving units found a heavy smoke condition and a missing subject in the middle of a four-unit row house. A search team was assigned
and located the subject. Units attacked and extinguished the fire with no fire extension found. Crews assisted with fire ground operations and overhaul.
Red Cross was notified for the occupants
