Crews working were kept busy with many calls and events going on in the area. The on duty crew started their day out with a Community outreach event held at the Memorial Park. This event was hosted by NewsTalk 103.7 and offered many resources for the community. The crews enjoyed speaking with our community members about our department and fire safety. Crews also received another generous donation of water from Weis of Chambersburg. Weis, as well as many other business and community members, have assisted us greatly in ensuring that our members are hydrated on these hot days while responding to calls. On top of the daily task completed and training, as well as these events, crews handled two Automatic Fire Alarms and 10 EMS calls.
