Smoke in the Building

| Engine 1-2 and Tower 1 were sent to 745 Norland Ave for a fire alarm. As units arrived on the scene, staff were evacuating residents, stating they had smoke in a mechanical room. Additional units were started as crews began to investigate. The course was found to be a malfunctioning water heater. Company 1 units operated for just under an hour until placed in service by Command 1 (Chief Ulrich). |
