Kitchen Fire

| At 9:47 a.m., the box alarm was dispatched for a reported kitchen on fire at 759 East Washington Street in the Borough. Engine 1-1 arrived to find smoke showing from the rear of the residence. Upon investigation, it was found that the fire was contained to the stove with minor extension to the cabinets. Command (Chief 1) held CFD units and placed the remainder in service. After around 20 minutes of ventilation, the scene was turned back over to the residents. |
