Kitchen Fire on Broad Street

| Shortly after 10 p.m., CFD was alerted for a stove fire at 778 Broad Street. Engine 1-2 was the first to arrive to find a kitchen fire in a downstairs apartment. A line was quickly put in place, and the fire was held to the kitchen area with smoke and heat damage to the remainder of the apartment. The box was downgraded to Co. 1 and Sta. 4 shortly after arrival of initial units. One occupant was displaced due to the fire. Remainder of the units stayed on scene for around an hour. |
