| The time has come to welcome students back to local schools. The Chambersburg Fire Department asks that all students and drivers be aware of the dangers of crossing the street as well as yielding properly to buses while loading and unloading students. According to PennDOT 2014 statistics, there were 166 fatal pedestrian accidents in Pennsylvania alone, and unfortunately, some were under the age of 18. Please be cautious with the many distractions in everyone's life that can cause an accident by a small interruption of attention. |
