| Tower 1 was sent with the remaining 1st alarm units to the 1600 block of Lincoln Way East for a reported Building Fire. Company 7 Chief's arrived finding fire showing from the roofline to the rear of the building. Tower 1 arrived with 7 personnel and set up the aerial for access to the roof. Crews opened the area up while the crew from Engine 7-2 advanced a handline to the roof. Crews operated for about an hour until the arrival of the power company to ensure all electricity was secured. Crews opened more of the roof area up to ensure no extension.
