Each year the Chambersburg Fire & EMS department applies for a substantial amount of grants to help keep our firefighters' gear and supplies to the safest level so that we can provide excellent services to those who live, work, and visit the Borough of Chambersburg. This year, the fire department was fortunate enough to receive a $15,000 grant to replace our worn out fire nozzles. Today, the new nozzles were delivered and are in the process of being inventoried. These nozzles will be placed on the fire apparatus in the next few days and will be in service for many years to come.
