Both CFD Engines were alerted to the 200 block of South Coldbrook Ave for a lawn mower fire just after 1030 hrs. Chief 1 arrived confirming a commercial lawn mower on fire. Engine 1-2 arrived and the crew stretched a crosslay to begin fire attack. Engine 1-1 crew arrived and were assigned to deploy a dry chemical extinguisher to handle the flammable liquid fire. Crews quickly extinguished all fire and began working to mitigate runoff from fuel. Crews operated for about 15 minutes before clearing the scene.
