Company 1 units and mutual aid were sent to the 200 block of Miller St for a reported house fire. Squad 41 and Engine 1-1 arrived to find a smoke condition from the rear of the building. A small smoldering fire was located on the 2nd floor deck to the rear. Crews wet the area down and pulled some of the deck up before clearing. About an hour later, crews were sent back out again for a reported house fire. Units arrived and located a large bird's nest in the ceiling of the deck that had started to smoke from the first fire and after smoldering for some time, began to ignite. Crews opened up the entire ceiling and deck area to ensure no other areas were hot.
