Washington St Appliance Fire



CFD units and mutual aid were out again, this time to the 200 block of East Washington Street for an appliance fire. Tower 1 arrived finding normal conditions from the exterior and crews began to investigate. Crews found a small fire on the stove and quickly extinguished it. Engine 1-1 held Company 1 units and placed all mutual aid in service. Crews checked for extension and removed the stove. Crews operated for about 17 minutes before being placed in service by Chief 1.
