| Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-7 were sent to the 1100 block of Lincoln Way East just around lunch time for a Vehicle Accident, with a vehicle into a building. While enroute Communications updated that there were occupants sitting in the area of the vehicle strike and had unknown injuries. Ambulance 1-7 arrived and found a vehicle that had struck the building. Crews assessed the occupants of the vehicle, as well as those sitting close to the impact. No injuries were reported and the Building Code Official was requested to the scene. Company 1 units remained on scene to assist the Code Official and ensure the stability of the building. the business was able to remain open and units cleared.
