Mulch Fire next to a building

| Company 1 units and mutual aid were alerted for a reported Building Fire to the 100 Chambers Hill Drive. Enroute, Communications advised of a fire next to the building and spreading rapidly. Engine 1-1 arrived, finding a small mulch fire along the building. The Engine crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and find no extension into the building itself. Captain 1-3 (Martin) held the assignment to Engine 1-1 to finish wet down before going in service. |
