A few hours after the appliance fire, crews responded for a reported apartment building on fire at 1931 Ashley Drive.
Sergeant 44 arrived shortly after dispatch to find a three-story garden apartment building with fire against the outside
of one of the apartments. Engine 1-1 arrived, stretched a line, and checked for extension. Command (C1) held CFD and Squad
41 for additional overhaul. Fortunately, the fire was contained to the origin, and no extension into the apartment was found.
All units cleared around 5:00 p.m., around one hour after being on the scene.
