Appliance Fire

CFD and surrounding departments were alerted for an appliance fire at 1285 Progress Road just after 1:00 p.m. Crews arrived to find a three-story apartment with normal conditions. Upon investigation, crews found an over the stove microwave that fell from cabinetry and caused arcing in the line. Power was secured, and units cleared in under twenty minutes.
