Laurel Ave Appliance Fire

CFD units and mutual aid were sent to the unit block of Laurel Ave for a reported appliance fire. Engine 1-1 arrived with normal conditions and began to investigate. Crews located a microwave that had a fire inside but was extinguished prior to Fire Dept arrival. The assignment was held to Company 1 and units checked for extension and ventilated. Crews operated under 30 minutes before being placed in service by Command 1 (Capt. Brown).
