Tower assists with Grain Bin Rescue

Just after 1100 hrs Tower 1 was requested to assist Rescue Hose Co. of Greencastle that was operating on a grain bin rescue. Other units from the County were on scene with a subject that was trapped up to their chest at the top of the bin. Tower 1 responded and on arrival was requested to set up their aerial. The Tower was used as an anchor point, as well as a point for equipment staging. The Tower operated for about 6 hours before returning available.
