CFD units responded to the 900 block of Wayne Ave for an odor of gas in a business. Units arrived and met with staff reporting the odor when they opened the business. Crews investigated, finding slight odors but no actual readings. Crews made access to adjoining businesses and located an oven operating without the hood system, creating Carbon Monoxide in the building. Crews ventilated the building while ensuring no other businesses were affected. Units operated for about 45 minutes before going in service.
