CFD assists on Fayetteville Fire

Both CFD engines responded to the 400 block of West Main St. in Fayetteville for a working house fire. Chief 1 arrived on scene first, finding fire from the basement windows. Chief 1 was assigned the fire attack officer and the crew from Engine 1-1 assisted with fire attack. Crews operated for just under 2 hours extinguishing the fire and completing overhaul.
