CFD units and mutual aid were out the door again, this time to CAMS South for a report of a building fire. While crews were responding, it was reported a generator against the building was on fire. Engine 1-4 arrived and found no actual fire and continued to investigate. Capt. 1-3 (Martin) established Command and started to return units. Company 1 remained on scene for further investigation on what was found to be a component of the generator that had overheated. CASD maintenance arrived and took over the scene and Company 1 units became available.
