Vehicle strikes canon at Memorial Square

Engine 1-1 and Ambulance 1-9 were alerted to Memorial Square just after noon for a vehicle accident. Ambulance 1-9 arrived, finding one auto into one of the perimeter canons at the square. The ambulance handled patient care while Engine 1-1 arrived and controlled fluids. Engine 1-1 remained on scene until towing arrived. Crews rerouted traffic around part of the square while operating.
