CFD units and mutual aid were alerted shortly after 6 PM for a garage fire. As crews responded Franklin County 911 reported multiple callers stating it was a working fire. Engine 1-1 arrived on scene with fire visible from the roof. The crew advanced a hoseline through the front door of the residence and to the garage to begin attacking the fire. Crews were moved from the garage area briefly due to worsening fire conditions but after crews reassessed they were able to access through the garage to extinguish the fire. Crews on scene operated for over 2 hours with extensive overhaul to ensure no hidden pockets of fire.
