| UTV and Utility 1 were requested to the scene of the mountain fire for the second day. Units arrived and were sent briefly to staging. The UTV was assigned to Thompson Hollow Road to assist with fire attack. The UTV was utilized for extinguishment and protection of other units operating. Crew were pulled from this location due to the fire jumping the road. The UTV was reassigned further down the mountain to assist with extinguishing hot spots. THe UTV operated briefly at this location due to crews moving to other locations. The UTV returned to staging and returned to service a short time after that. The UTV operated for 7 hours during the second day of the incident. |
