Company 1 units were sent to the 300 Block of West Catherine St for a reported odor of gas in a home. Units arrived and were advised of an odor of gas in the residence and report of an occupant possibly unconscious. The crew from Tower 1 advanced a hoseline to the front door for precaution and began to investigate the interior. Engine 1-1 arrived and their crew assisted with the investigation. Wellspan EMS arrived and handled patient care. Crews located a small leak of gas from the valve behind the stove. Crews opened windows to ventilate and Borough Gas was on scene and secured the gas to the home. Building maintenance were also on scene and were beginning to work on correcting the problem. Crews operated for about 30 minutes until placed in service by Chief 1.
