The newest ambulance to our EMS fleet arrived in Chambersburg today. Ambulance 1-9, a 2024 Ford F550/Horton ambulance was delivered by VCI. This unit will standardize our fleet of EMS units for the first time in many years. This unit will be a triplet to our 2020 and 2022 ambulances. All three ambulances contain many technological and safety features to better protect those that may need us, as well as those that operate them day in and day out. We greatly appreciate Borough Council for allowing us to make this purchase to better our citizens and the many Borough staff members that assisted throughout this process.
